The Paramount Chief of Sefwi Wiawo Traditional Area, Ogyeahoho Nana Yaw Gyebi II has been elected the new President of the National House of Chiefs.
Ogyeahoho Nana Yaw Gyebi was voted the new President in an elections held by the House on Thursday afternoon.

He has unseat Togbe Afede XIV who was the sitting President of the National House of Chiefs before the elections.

Ogyeahoho Nana Yaw Gyebi accumulated 47 votes as against Togbe Afede’s 25.
Kyfilla.com understands, seven members of the House were exempted from voting by a court action.
