The Western Regional communications officer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Issah Fuseini says the regional minister Kobby Okyere-Darko is a nightmare to the opposition National Democratic Congress.
To him, the remarkable achievements of Okyere-Darko as the regional minister under President Akufo-Addo makes the NDC in the Western Region shiver.
Responding to a claim by the Western Regional communications officer of the NDC, Richard Kirk Mensah on Skyy Power FM that Kobby Okyere-Darko should be reshuffled to save the NPP from a shameful defeat in 2024, Fuseini Issah said, “Okyere-Darko is a smooth runner, a team player, very active and can very well execute a plan, that is why I think the NDC is afraid of him. Kobby is the NDC’s worse nightmare in the region now.”
He stated unequivocally that the NPP will maintain Okyere-Darko as the regional minister till 2024 despite the earsplitting noise from the NDC.
“We are keeping the Western Regional Minister till 2024, even if the president decides to change him we will not agree. We will go to the president and explain to him why it is important to keep Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah in office”, he added…
