Apollon Ladies Football Club forward Olivia Anokye is a surprise exclusion from the Black Queens players to face Rwanda in the Women’s African Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
A list of 25 players have been called up by Head Coach Nora Hauptle to engage in the September 18 and September 26 double header and the UEFA Women’s Champions League campaigner who is already pushed her side to the Round 2 is missing from the call up.
Olivia Anokye is the second top scoring Ghanaian in UEFA’s flagship competition with two goals behind Doris Boaduwaa who has scored three goals.

Her performance has seen the Cyprus side beat Ljuboten and Nike in the initial qualifying stages. Elshaadai Acheampong and Elizabeth Oppong who are key members for the Cypriot side are missing from the squad too.
