Asante Kotoko legend Samuel Opoku Nti has tipped Abdul Karim Zito to win the league with the Porcupine Warriors Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Kotoko sacked Ogum for poor performance and his attitude towards players when they lose. He was also accused of insulting players and calling them uncivilized when things go wrong.
However, Opoku Nti praised Zito and tipped him for greatness with Asante Kotoko. In an interview with Ahomka FM, Opoku Nti said,
“Zito has evolved in his career as a coach, he fights for things, and knows what he’s doing. He can read the game very well and with the right support, I believe he’ll deliver as a coach.
“Today’s performance demonstrates that he (Zito) is a game changer and I feel Kotoko is capable of winning the league with Zito.”
