The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has decided to retain Otto Addo as head coach despite Ghana’s failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), according to GFA Executive Council member Dr. Randy Abbey.
“We think the GFA has made its decision already,” Abbey stated on Original FM. “The GFA is keeping Otto Addo. Immediately, it’s about the World Cup qualifiers that start in March, and to ensure that the poor trend of results that led to non-qualification for AFCON, we would be able to change course and put the Black Stars back on the winning path.”
Ghanaians called for Otoo Addo’s dismissal after failing to qualify Ghana to AFCON in a group comprises of Angola, Sudan and Niger.
