Hearts of Oak midfielder Abdul Aziz Nurudeen has declared that the club’s ultimate target is to win the Ghana Premier League next season.
The Phobians endured a torrid campaign last season, finishing 12th in the domestic top-flight.
The 24-year-old midfielder was sidelined during the 2022–23 football season due to recurring injuries.
Having undergone surgery, the combative midfielder is expected to return to action for the Phobians in the upcoming season.

Speaking to Kumasi-based Kessben TV, he said, “What has happened is already behind us because there is nothing we can do about it. Our focus is on this season, not last season. This season, we will try to improve ourselves. Our goal is to win the league because we deserve to return to Africa another time.
“Hearts of Oak supporters should put the past behind them. This season, we will give them something bigger and better.
The 24-year-old combative midfielder has played 24 matches for the club since joining Hearts of Oak from Vision FC in 2020.
