The legislative branch of the arms of government have set five targets for the new Ghana Football Association (GFA).

The Parliamentary Select Committee on Sports and Culture are expecting the Black Stars to qualify to and reach the semi-finals of the upcoming 2022 World Cup to be held in Qatar as well as ending the 39 years of AFCON trophy drought.
Also, the GFA have been tasked to make Ghanaian clubs strong and competitive in Africa whiles they ensure Black Stars rank consistently among the top 10 in the world.
Finally, there should be a corruption free administration following the cases of corruption mounted on the previous administration led by embattled Kwesi Nyantakyi.

The new Ghana Football Association is led by astute football administrator Kurt Okraku who beat off competition from George Afriyie, George Ankomah Mensah, Nana Yaw Amponsah, Fred Pappoe and Amanda Clinton to become the 24th GFA President.
