The partial lockdown of some parts of Greater Accra and Kumasi has been extended for one more week .
The two cities have been under partial lockdown for the past two weeks as part of measures to mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.
The period was supposed to have come to an end midnight of Sunday but residents of the two cities have to still remain indoors for one more week starting from midnight of Monday.

This was announced by President Akufo-Addo during his sixth address to the nation on measures the government has put in place to control the disease.
He stated that Ghana’s cases of the Coronavirus disease is now at 378 with 6 deaths.
