As the league season is still in the eleventh hour, Kenneth Abban Jnr of Kyfilla.com, continues to monitor the Western regional players plying their trades outside the shores of Ghana with an eagle eyes, and has again, compiled together the performance of the Western regional players abroad this weekend.
The list comprises of performance of some selected western regional players over the weekend.
• John Duku Antwi scored the winning goal for Misr El-Makasa as they defeated Noogom 2:1 at the Arab Contractors Stadium in the Egyptian Premier League.
• Richard Ocran lasted the full throttle as Nkana FC drew 1:1 with Nkwazi at the Nkana Stadium in the Zambia Premier League.
• In Tanzania, Nicholas Gyan was an unused sub as Simba Sporting were defeated 0:1 by Kagera Sugars at the Benjamin Nkampa National Stadium.
• Nana Egyir was not part of Sanga Balende team.
• Elsewhere in Bulgaria, Samuel Inkoom lasted 83 minutes in Dunav Ruse clash with Vitosha Bristritsa.
• Isaac Nana Honny featured for BEC Tero Sansana as they were beaten 2:1 by Chiangmai United in the Thailand FA Cup first round.
• Tijani Mohammed sustained a knee injury during a warm session ahead of their game against NSI Runavik. B71 Sandoy however lost 2:1 in the Feroe Island Premier League.
•In France, Ebenezer Assifuah came off the bench in the 72nd minutes as Le Havre were beaten at home 0:1 by Valenciennes in the French Ligue Two.
• Joseph Ato Bissah saw full time action as Al Rustaq defeated Sur Club 2:1 in the Oman Professional League.
• William Opoku Mensah was not included in Swoop Park Rangers squad for Nashville clash.
