Confederation of African Football [CAF] President, Ahmad Ahmad has been honored with a doctorate degree in law from the University of Professional Studies [UPSA] .
The Malagasy was done the honor for his immense contributions in the development of African sports.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chancellor for UPSA, Professor Abednego Amartey commented that, the university was honored to present the award to the former Malagasy politician
“Particularly, we are substantially aware of the positive impact you [Ahmad Ahmad] have made in the football arena both in Ghana and the international world”, Professor Amartey said in his speech.
The colorful ceremony witnessed Blacks Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah, assistant Ibrahim Tanko together with some Ghana Football Association members which includes the capo Kwesi Nyantakyi, Executive Committee members Osei Parma and Mrs.Linear Addy, King Faisal bank-roller Alhaji Grusah and some heads of African football federations all gathered to support the CAF President.
