Newcastle United winger Christian Atsu is building a school for about 300 deprived children at Senya Beraku in the Awutu Senya district of the Central region of Ghana.
The 28-year old flanks-man begun the projects last year and still on course to complete the school which will benefit over 300 children in the community.

This forms part of the former FC Porto winger’s way of given back to the society projects after benefiting from an excellent education provided by Feyenoord Academy in Ghana.

Atsu has been hugely involved in humanitarian works, donating and providing shelters for the needy among others.

The schooling that Christian Atsu had at Feyenoord Academy equiped him to join FC Porto at a very tender age from 2009-2011 on a four year deal.
