The GNPC Foundation picked an award at the third edition of the Ghana Shippers Awards held on Friday, July 12, 2019 in Accra.
The Foundation due to their enormous contributions to society, was adjudged the best institution in delivering Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility during the third edition of the Ghana Shippers Awards on Friday.
The Ghana Shippers Awards provides a platform to recognize individuals and companies that play a significant role in the growth and development of the industry while recognising the key functions within the industry that promote growth and sustainability.
The awards cut across road transportation, ocean carriers, air transportation, freight forwarding, shipping agents, express services, courier agencies, government agencies, insurance and financial institution.
The GNPC Foundation was nominated alongside McDan Shipping Company Limited, Ghana Community Networks Services Limited (GCNET), Apex Shipping and Commercial Company Limited , Benmarine Offshore Services, Nungua Warehouse Group of Companies and CAGL.
Speaking after receiving the award on behalf of the Foundation, the Executive Director, Dr. Dominic Eduah thanked the organisers for recognizing the efforts of his outfit and dedicated to all the staff of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) and all stakeholders particularly the chiefs for their cooperation thus far.
