VP Family- an organization in Kojokrom- Takoradi known for their charitable works on today February 16, 2019 donated food items and assorted drinks to the Amazing Grace Shelter Orphanage in Aboadze.
The donation forms part of the organization’s initiative to support the poor, needy and underprivileged in the society. Items donated includes packs of soft drinks, bags of rice, cooking oils and toiletries.
Richard Van Mensah popularly known as Van Pesewa, the CEO of the organization briefly stated that the donation exercise forms part of their initiative to support the needy, poor and underprivileged in the society.
The Manageress of the orphanage home, Mrs. Lordina Bangura thanked the organization for the kind gesture and appealed to other organizations and philanthropists to come to their aid.
She however disclosed that the orphanage home boost of 21 orphans with some in the boarding schools with a two-year old as the least among them. After the exercise, prayers were said for the organization and the players who were available.
In all Hearts of Oak target Philip Flamini of Sekondi Hasaacas, Theophilus Nana Awortwe of Skyy FC, Daniel Eshun of Shalom Academy, Rail Stars duo Fred Cromwell and Eric Arthur alongside Rayo Inkoom of Future Stars, Proud United sensation Gilbert Adams and David Affreh of Inchaban Royals were all present during the donation exercise.
