The Ghana Police Service has announced the arrest of two additional suspects in connection with the violent disturbances that erupted during the football match between Nsotreman FC and Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC.
The suspects, identified as Isaac Ofosu and Yeboah Augustine, are currently in police custody, assisting with ongoing investigations.
This development brings the total number of arrests to five since the incident occurred on February 2, 2025, at Nsoatre in the Bono Region.
The police have assured the public that an intelligence-led operation is still underway to apprehend the remaining perpetrators and bring them to justice.
