The Ghana Police Service has invited Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A-Plus, to assist with the investigation into Ahmed Suale’s death.
This comes after his recent social media claims of having information.
The Cold Case Unit, established in October 2021 under the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service, is currently working on the case.
The Police are certainly delighted that Mr. Kwame Asare Obeng (A-Plus) has indicated that he has some information that could help the ongoing inquiry.
Ahmed Suale the undercover reporter was shot and killed in January 2019 while travelling home through Madina, which is close to Accra and since then his case is yet to be settled.
Through his undercover investigations, Mr. Suale has helped uncover corrupt authorities, people traffickers, and court personnel throughout Africa. He worked under Tiger Eye, an extremely covert investigative journalism squad under the direction of undercover reporter Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
