Police in the Ashanti Region by a statement released on 19th August, 2019 have begun investigations into the death of Otumfuo’s Asamponhene, Nana Kwadwo Oheneba Fordour.
The body of Nana Kwadwo Oheneba Fordour was found in his vehicle on Sunday 18th August, 2019 at about 4:30pm near Ebuom on the Ejura – Nkoranza Highway.
“It is believed the late chief was murdered and his body deposited at the back seat of his Toyota Land Cruiser vehicle and abandoned at the outskirts of the village,” police said in a statement.

The police statement said they are currently looking into the case and are “working earnestly to get the perpetrators arrested.”
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
The deceased, who owns Sikka FM in Kumasi is also the owner of a popular X5 Pub in Kumasi.
