Emmanuel Kwesi Koomson popularly known by his listeners as ‘KK 4 Short’ was born by Mr. John Koomson and Madam Hannah Nyarko in Takoradi.
Kwesi Koomson started his elementary school at Howard Memorial School and continued at Monsignor Ansah Junior High School before he gained admission at Takoradi Senior High School in 1999 and completed in 2001.
‘KK 4 Short’ started his broadcasting career at Spice 91.9 FM in 2005 as a sports pundit and Western regional sports correspondent for Accra based Happy 98.7 FM before switching camp to Goodnews 96.3 FM in 2007 after two solid years with currently Focus One Media brand.
At Spice FM, Kwesi Koomson teamed up with Baffour Gyimah, the then Head of Sports and Sammy B together with current Energy FM sports Head, Osei Kweku Cassidy to form a scintillating crew In the Sekondi/Takoradi metropolis.
The delight to listen Sports broadcaster teamed up with Vanboven Swanzy-Essien, the then Head of Sports for Goodnews 96.3 FM together with Albert Osei Owusu Ababio, Benjamin Quansah and Frederick Osei Kofi and Henry Eliud Yankey as producers.
Stint with the 96.3 dial wined down, propelling his move to Aseda 105.9 FM in 2010 as deputy Head of Sports due to his intelligent and hardworking nature.The renowned broadcaster teamed up with the sensation Benjamin Quansah as Sports Head together with Eric Kwesi Essel, Henry Eliud Yankey to form the most talked about Sports crew in town.
Emmanuel Kwesi Koomson now holds the position as Head of Sports for Aseda 105.9 FM since 2014,following numerous of travelling outside to cover tournaments with the latest being South Africa hosted Cup of Nations in 2013.
