President Akufo-Addo has accepted Martin Amidu’s resignation as the Special Prosecutor.
Mr. Amidu few days ago addressed to the office of the president, stating that he has resigned from his position as the Special Prosecutor.[ads2]
In a statement signed by the Chief of Staff Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, President Akufo-Addo has accepted the resignation of Martin Amidu as the Special Prosecutor, and has directed the Chief of Staff to ensure that he’s paid all his emoluments and benefits due him.[ads3]
The President says government has also taken note of other matters raised in his resignation letter, and will issue a statement to respond in due course.
