The President and Bankroller of Ghana Premier League Champions Medeama Sporting Club, Moses Armah Parker has expressed his delight after clinching the 2022/23 BetPawa Premier League following a final day 3-0 victory over Tamale City FC.
The business mogul who purchased Medeama SC from former Kotoko board member Kwabena Kesse as Kessben FC in 2009/2010 season after a failed attempt to qualify to the Ghana Premier League after losing a Division one play-off against Dwarfs at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Following the purchase, Medeama SC have impressed greatly since then, having competed favorable and clinched two FA Cup titles as well as the FA Super Cup title.
The Tarkwa-based side has had great stint in the continental level making it all the way to the CAF Confederations Cup Group Phase.
Speaking after the game, Mr Moses Armah said – “I feel very very great, I feel very happy today”.
“As you can see we have tried several times, three consecutive times, we came on top of the league, first it was Anas Exposé to Normalization, then COVID -19 too denied us from winning the league but today God has made it, it is our time and the trophy is in Tarkwa.

“I was looking for a coach who will win the League title for me ,but it was not coming so I continue pushing, then it got to a point I told my self why not go for my former coach Evans Adotey , because he Adotey was part of the team when we won the 2 FA Cup and played in Africa and here we are today he have a revelation for us .
The former Black Stars Management committee member promise Ghanaians that his team is going to represent Ghana very well in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League.
He used the opportunity to thanked MP for Tarkwa and corporate Ghana especially Goldfields Ghana and Ghana Manganese Company for their immense support in the history making of the club.
He was with full praise for Goldfields Ghana for investing a huge amount of over $16 million dollars for the construction of the new TNA Park at Tarkwa which is expected to be the home grounds for Medeama Sc in the CAF Champions League.
