Robert Wisdom Cudjoe, the Member of Parliament for Prestea Huni-Valley in the Western Region has organized a fully funded skills development training for his constituents.
Over hundred youths in the constituency participated in the training programme which was organised by the lawmaker to mark his birthday on June 6, 2022.
Even though it was to mark his birthday, the objective of the training was to equiped the participants especially the unemployed and the youth with the needed skills to be able to be self dependant.
As part of celebrating his birthday, Wisdom Cudjoe also donated footballs and jerseys to the Islamic and Presbyterian Basic Schools in Prestea and 600 pieces of exercise books to school children at the Appiatse Relief Camp.
He ended the activities by inaugurating an apprenticeship training programme for three hairdressers and seamstess at Bondye in the constituency and donated three sewing machines and three hairdryers to the patron of Shinning Ladies Group to enable six of their members to commence an apprenticeship training at Huni-Valley.
