President Akufo-Addo has showered praises on the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu for reading the 2021 budget statement and economic policy like a pro.
The Suame MP stood on behalf of the Finance Minister-designate Ken Ofori-Atta who is in the United States due to Covid-19 complications to read to the hearing of the 8th Parliament the 2021 budget statement.[ads2]
Hon. Kyei Mensah Bonsu who is also the Majority leader of the 8th Parliament stood on his feet for about three hours to read the budget.
Commending the majority leader for a good work done, President Akufo-Addo on his social media page wrote that, “Osei Kyei-Mensah Bonsu read the Budget as if he does it every year!” [ads3]
Also, the Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah on Joy Newsfile programme, Saturday, also praised him “for doing a good job”
Meanwhile, the 2021 budget was titled the “W)n ya w) hi3 budget” to wit “we are moving forward”.[ads5]
