President Akufo Addo has suspended the Chief Executive Officer of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA), Mr. A.B Adjei with immediate effect.
A statement from the Communication Directorate at the Presidency, signed by Eugene Arhin and dated August 22 confirms the suspension of the PPA boss.
According to the statement, the decision follows the recent broadcast of allegations made against him in a documentary conducted by undercover journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni titled ‘Contracts for Sale’.
