Gabby Asare Otchere Darko, a leading member of the ruling New Patriotic Party [NPP] and the nephew of President Akufo-Addo has tipped former Ghanaian footballer Anthony Baffoe to become the next Ghana Football Association boss.
According to the Executive Director of the Danquah Institute, Anthony Baffoe is the right person to lead the reformation of the Ghana Football Association because he’s not corrupt and understand the footballing business.
Gabby continued that, the former Ghana Black Stars captain Anthony Baffoe is known worldwide and had played football to the highest level.
”I have known him for over 40 years.In my view, he will be the best Ghanaian to lead the reformation of the Ghana Football Association.
”He is decent, he believes in discipline an he is not corrupt.He is a patriot. He knows the game and the business of the game,locally and internationally.
”He has played at the highest level, in Europe’s top leagues, and captained Ghana’s national team.He is respected worldwide in football.When dust settles,help me convince him and the powers that be to make him the man for the new GFA.His name is Anthony Baffoe”, he wrote it on his official Facebook page.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association has been suspended by the government after some of its officials which includes Kwesi Nyantakyi, the then president were captured in Ghanaian undercover investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas exopse’ video which entails corruption practices in the Ghanaian football .
