Ramos Asafo-Adjei was born in Takoradi. He attended Nav-West Junior Secondary School from 1995-1997. He then attended Fijai Secondary School from 1998-2000.
In 2002, he gained admission to the University of Ghana, Legon where he graduated with a combined major degree in English and Philosophy in 2006.
In 2008, he was enrolled to the University of Cape-Coast’s Institute of Development Studies to study Human Resource Development. He graduated with a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Development in 2010.
He thereafter gained admission to the University of Ghana’s Linguistics Department in 2011 to study for another master’s degree in Teaching of English as a Second Language (TESL). He graduated in 2012.
For working experience, he worked at Melody Hotel from November, 2000 to February, 2001. Again, he worked with the Internal Revenue Service from February, 2001 to June, 2001.
He was appointed to lecture English Language and Communication Skills at the Takoradi Technical University in 2007.
Ramos Asafo-Adjei is currently a Senior Lecturer in English and Communication Skills at the university. He also doubles as the Editor of Takoradi Technical University. More so, he is serving as a tutor of Linguistics, Academic Writing and Literature on the distance program organized by the University of Ghana.
He has served in this capacity since 2010. From 2013-2015, he served as a part-time lecturer of Communication Skills and English language on the distance program organized by the Ghana Institute of Management Public Administration (GIMPA).
He has also been serving as a part-time lecturer of English Language, Human Resource Management/Development and Communication Skills on the distance program organized by Valley View University since 2014.
His leading hobbies are journalism and discussing of sports. In this wise, he served as a political analyst at old Spice FM in 2006 (here, he worked with Araba Tagoe, Zam and Honourable Kojo Ntow).
From 2007-2011, he was a Sports Analyst at Goodnews FM and Help FM simultaneously (Here, he worked with Frederick Osei Kofi Agyepong ‘Kanoute’, Abedu Abednego, Kyei Yaw Baffour, Kweku Aggrey, Evans Mensah Shirrah etc.).
From August, 2011-January, 2015, he was a Sports Analyst at Kyzz FM (here, he worked with Lord Ameenu Zylla, Asenso, David Quainoo, Sintim Kodie ‘Chaskele’etc.) From March 2015- November, 2016, he worked with Focus 1 Media Group, particularly, Beach FM (here, he worked with Aroja Amadi Ferguson, David Quainoo, Hans Mensah Andoh, Victor Atsu Tamakloe, Lord Ameenu Zylla etc.). From November, 2017 – August, 2017, he worked with Empire FM (here, he worked with Michael Asare Boadu, Julius Abakah Emunah etc).
He is happily married to Mrs. Esther Asafo – Adjei. They are blessed with four lovely children – two boys and two girls.
