Former Hearts of Oak legend, Charles Taylor has said Asante Kotoko head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum should be given the Black Stars job.
Taylor made his opinion following Asante Kotoko spectacular performance this season in the Ghana Premier League, going four matches without a defeat.[ads2]
The Porcupines are currently leading the league log with twelve points after four matches so far this season.
Many have praised coach Prosper Narteh Ogum for building a strong and resilient Kotoko team who are writing their names in gold for the club in the Ghana top-flight league.[ads3]
And according to Taylor, Prosper Narteh is technically astute and qualifies to be given the Black Stars coaching job.
“I have said this earlier that Prosper Narteh is very good.. Himself, Samuel Boadu and the recent Medeama coach who was sacked ( Ignatius Osei-Fosu) are the three coaches we should watch out for, they are technically gifted. For Ogum, I think he even deserves the Black Stars job”, Charles Taylor said this on Angel TV on Monday, November 22, 2021 when analysing Asante Kotoko stupendous performance so far this season.[ads4]
Meanwhile, the Black Stars coaching job is being occupied by Serbian tactician Milovan Rajevac who replaced CK Akonnor months ago.
Coach Rajevac has been able to qualify Ghana to the playoff round of the 2022 world cup qualifiers after pipping South Africa 1:0 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium in the last game of the group stages.[ads5]
