Member of Parliament of Sekondi Constituency, Andrew Egyapa Mercer on Friday, July 7, revealed the construction of the PTC Interchange will be completed before 2024.
The construction of the interchange has been halted due to resources and about 300 worker laid off according to a publication by Empire FM in January 2023.
The 3-tier interchange is being financed through the Master Project Support Agreement between Ghana and the Chinese government by the Synohydro Corporation.

The construction was anticipated to be completed July 2023, but the snag in operation means the close to 80 percent completed project will push for a later date.

In an interview the Member of the Special Budget Committee of the Akufo-Addo’s led government maintained operations will resume and the construction will finish before 2024 elapses.
