Radio Premier 100.5mhz, a campus radio at Takoradi Technical University (TTU)has donated assorted drinks and cartons of bottled water to students with disability of the University.

The presentation, made by Mr. Joshua Anim, the Station Manager, is in support of a program dubbed ‘FUFUO PARTY’ fixed for tomorrow Sunday October 20, 2019. The items were received by Mr Joseph Mensah Oti-Asirifi, the head of Disability Support and Services Unit TTU on behalf of the students.
The FUFUO PARTY is being organized by the Disability Support and Services Unit of TTU with the aim of providing a friendly university life for students with disability, and to welcome first year students disability who, together with all other first year students, were matriculated on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the University Auditorium.

Presenting the items, Mr Joshua Anim said it is part of the corporate social responsibilities of the station to reach out to the University comminuty in kind. He praised the Vice Chancellor, Professor John Frank Eshun for the Disability Education and Training Project, and called on corporate Ghana to support it.

The Head of Disability Support and Services Unit, Mr Oti-Asirifi on his part, thanked the management Radio Premier for their benevolence. Mr Oti-Asirifi has been very instrumental in the advocacy for inclusive education across the country. “My commitment to creating life for persons with disability and advocating for their rights is a divine calling and I am happy that the message is going down well, but we need do so more”, he remarked.
Takoradi Technical University is the only Technical University in Ghana which has a special and functional unit dedicated to providing academic instructions as well as special support services for students with disability.
The FUFUO PARTY is being organized in collaboration with God is Love Chop Bar, a popular food joint situated near Pipe Ano, Takoradi.
