Popular Nigerian musician Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has finally responded to the rumors circulating that he recently joined the Illuminati.
In a post on his official Instagram page on Wednesday, Rema denied any connection with a secret society.
Referring to Illuminati conspiracy theories, Rema urged his fans, known as Ravers, to educate new fans about his past and legacy.
While condemning claims that his success is linked to supernatural forces, the singer called the Illuminati evil, claiming that “Jesus is king”.
Rema said, “Day 1 Ravers, help me make the new Ravers understand that I’ve been doing this for a long time. You all would understand a lot better if you easily Googled where I come from, what the main colors of my heritage are, what flies in the skies above Benin every night, etc.
“As I evolve, my ability to execute will clearly evolve. Please know your artist. This is why I do interviews. And this Illuminati talk is rubbish. I work too hard to create art so you can glorify evil bullshit. Dead. Jesus is king.
