On May 25, 2024, two highlife musicians, KK Fosu and KayBlez, were involved in a fatal car accident on the Accra-Apam highway.
Tragically, their publicist, John Claude Tamakloe, died in an accident that happened as they were heading to a wedding. As the chief editor of Beeniewords.com, Tamakloe was a hardworking, devoted, and clever team player.
Both musicians sustained serious injuries, including broken legs.
Their driver, Nana Obiri Yeboah, claims that their Toyota Camry was struck head-on by a Mercedes that was trying to pass another car.
In addition to the Grammy-winning group Morgan Heritage, Tamakloe worked on PR and grooming projects for a number of other artists, such as Rocky Dawuni, Samini, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Kofi Kinaata, Edem, Naira Marley, Stephanie Benson, Kaakie, AK Songstress, Lamisi, and Kwesi Amewuga.
The entertainment industry is in mourning over Tamakloe’s passing and hopes that the musicians will recover quickly from the unfortunate incident.
