Swedish Professional Football League side Helsinborg IF have reportedly increased their bid for Asante Kotoko talisman Abdul Fatawu Shafiu.
Asante Kotoko initially told the 24-year old to return to Ghana after the Allsvenkan side offered a paltry $15000 for his services.
However, Kyfilla.com can report that, the Helsinborg based club is now offering an outright purchase of $100,000 with $25,000 variables if the former Shirak attacker cap 30 games in the upcoming league season.
Abdul Fatawu Shafiu has attracted interest from the newly promoted Swedish side following his exploits in the last season’s CAF Confederation Cup with Asante Kotoko.
He managed to score 10 goals in the NC Special Competition tier 1 and was a joint top scorer alongside Karela United youngster Diawisie Taylor.
