The Chief Executive Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak, Mark Noonan is reported to have parted ways with the club.
Noonan took a french leave last two weeks to visit his family in the United States and also to attend to meetings that will benefit the club.
Kumasi based Oyerepa FM has however, reported that, shockingly, the American is not returning to Ghana due to some personal grudges with the Executive Board Chairman, Togbe Afede.
According to the report, Noonan chatted Togbe Afede saying he is not returning back to the West African country again and the message was made available to all the Board members during a meeting today.
The report continues that, the peculiar reason as to which Noonan is resigning, as to do with the Umbro kits sponsorship deal which Togbe Afede was not in support.
Noonan, per what is stated in the report, told Togbe Afede that, should the Umbro deal fall through , he will resign from the Continental Club Masters as the CEO.
The report, however, concluded that, the Board of the Rainbow side have taken it upon themselves to convince Noonan to reverse his decision.
The former Soccer United Marketing Vice President was appointed into office March last year as the Chief Executive Officer of the club on a three year deal, mandated to transform the club to become the most cherished organization and the best in African football but per the report has quit.
