Division One League newbies Skyy FC have issued suspension letters to the entire playing body according to multiple reports gathered by kyfilla.com.
Though it’s still unclear as to the exact acts that prompted the reported-decision of the management of the Daboase based side, one reason which seems likely was agitation toward unpaid salaries, a close source disclosed.
Reports were already ripe that players of the NC Special Division One League Zone 2B table toppers have gone several months without salaries and due to that having established a united front demanded for settlement of some of the arrears before they[players] will commence training.
Kyfilla.com sources state that management weren’t pleased as to the approach of the players and subsequently had to suspend the players indefinitely due to actions of the players.
The source added that owner of the football club, Honorable Wilson Arthur felt disrespected by the actions of his employees and that also influenced his decision to instruct for the players to be suspended.
It is rather unclear as to when exactly the club will be calling the players to return to training as the new 2019-2020 Division One League season beckons.
Several attempts by Kyfilla.com for confirmation have been futile as management of the lower tier side are not willing to speak on the issue.
Kyfilla.com understands, some of the players have already decided that management of the club should work out their release letters if the situation doesn’t change in the coming days.
