Residents in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis have hit the streets in protest against the Ghana Police Service inability to locate the whereabouts of the three kidnapped girls.
The demonstration started in the morning of Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Takoradi with over five hundred residents marching through the principal streets of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.
The demonstrators held placards that read “bring back our girls”, “families are crying, families are in pain” all in protest against the Police inability to locate the whereabouts of the kidnapped girls.
The three girls; Priscilla Bentum, Mantebea Koranchie and Ruth Love Quayson were abducted in the last quarter of 2018 and since then their whereabouts remain unknown.
