Renowned Ghanaian female FIFA referee, Theresa Bremansu was heavily assaulted by an avid supporter of Prisons Ladies during a semi-final duel against Ampem Darkoa Ladies at Sunyani in the NC Special Women’s Cup.
The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association has fined the Sunyani based side GHC 5,000 and has ordered the team to fish out the supporter within three days to face the law.
The supporter who is a Prisons Officer and an avid football enthusiast was caught on camera, slapping the hell out of the female referee for failing to add ‘enough’ injury time to their clash when down by a goal to nil.
Meanwhile, Kyfilla.com per reliable source has come across the name of the hooligan who assaulted the renowned female referee. Sergeant Baffour Awuah alias Bantama is the real name of the culprit, Kyfilla.com understands.
