Djodi spent two years at Obuasi, but became free agent after expiration of his contract in June.
According to the sources, he set to complete a move to Asante Kotoko by the end of the week.
A player as clinical as Djodi is sorely needed at Kumasi this summer, after a breakthrough season in 2018 which saw him steering the Ashgold attack.
Djodi’s will be a good move for the Porcupines who are set compete in this seasons CAF Champions League.
Asante Kotoko have already completed the signing of Kwame Baah (Goalkeeper, Free agent), Ampem Dacosta (Centre-back, Karela United), Kelvin Maxwell Andoh (Forward, free agent), Justice Blay (Defensive midfielder, on loan from Medeama and Emmanuel Osei Baffour (Attacking midfielder, Karela United).
