Ghanaian International Richard Ocran won his second trophy with Nkana FC today after beating arch rivals ZESCO United on penalty shootouts to lift the 2019 Zambian Community Shield.
Nkana managed to beat arch rivals ZESCO United 5:4 on penalty shootouts after 1:1 in regulation to run away winners of the cagey encounter.
Maybin Kalengo’s second minutes strike ensured that ZESCO return to the dressing room with smiles unfortunately for ZESCO United, the unpredictable Ronald Kampamba brought Nkana at level- pegged with his 46th minutes goal.
Richard Ocran as usual was solid at the back of Nkana- preventing the attacking front of their rivals to find the net again. He was pivotal and justified the reason why Asante Kotoko attackers must work harder during their CAF Confederation Cup group stages encounters.
His unprecedented form for Nkana has made him an important figure in the team since joining as a free agent on a season long deal.
