Over 900 inhabitants in three communities at the Prestea-Huni Valley have benefited from free health screening exercise set up by the Gold Fields Ghana Foundation, Damang Mine of the Western Region.
Mehentum, Kwabenaho and Koduakrom are the communities involved in the health outreach.
As part of the health outreach program, the residents in these three communities were screened, treated and given free medication.
Two Nurses and Doctors sponsored by the Goldfields Foundation under its scholarship program volunteered to lend a helping hand during this year’s health outreach.
