Former head coach for Ghana Premier League defending champions Aduana Stars, Yusif Abubakar has passed on.
The astute tactician died earlier this morning at his residence in Tech Zongo, Kumasi.
Yusif Abubakar was suffering from an unknown illness and was on the treatment bed where he finally joined his maker, Kyfilla.com understands.
According to his son, Mohammed Mansuru who told Kumasi based Fox FM in an interview, coach Yusif would be buried this afternoon per the Islamic rites.
Yusif Abubakar won the 2016-17 Ghana Premier League for Aduana Stars when at the helm of affairs and even qualified the team to the 2017-18 CAF Champions League but was later sacked by the management of the team.
