Former Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies forward, Samira Suleman has revealed her top 3 success stories as a footballer in her latest interview with Confederation of Africa Football’s Media Department.
From a video shared by the continent’s football governing body’s media team, the 3 times National Women’s League winner was seen passionately recounting her life story as a footballer.

The Black Queens forward posed as a top inspiration for every girl out there who has the ambition to play football by walking us through her toil through society’s stigmatization and her sheer courage and persistency to get where she’s now.
Suleman, at age 28, who was last seen featuring for the Queens at the CAF African Women’s Cup of Nations revealed her 4 success stories as a footballer.

- Football gave me scholarship to study in the USA.
Samira Suleman is one of the many Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies FC players to have earned scholarships to study in the USA. She’s an Alumni of Robert Moris University in the USA.
- I have won medals.
Samira Suleman was part of the Coach Yusif Basigi led Black Queens team to win Ghana’s first gold medal in a women’s competition in Brazzaville, Congo scoring some decisive goals against Ivory Coast and South Africa in the semifinals and quarter finals.

Playing for Hasaacas Ladies, she emerged as the top scorer and best player in the first of its kind National Women’s League in 2013/2014 season. She went on to win the 2014/2015 title by scoring the only goal in the final for Hasaacas Ladies against Ampem Darkoa Ladies on December 27, 2015.

Samira ended up by wielding in the fact that she’s been able to support her family by playing football and wants everyone to have the maximum support for being a footballer.
