Member of Parliament for the Shama Constituency Honorable Samuel Erickson Abekah on Friday, June 9, 2023 denied promising six artificial pitches.
The Constituents at Shama in recent times have held Honorable Samuel Abekah to the supposed promise of building six artificial football pitch during his campaign in 2020 General Election.
In the sharp contrast the Member of Parliament has refuted all assertions by the constituents, claiming “it could be a slip of tongue”, he however added there is the possibility of getting one artificial pitch before the year ends.
“Maybe it was slip of tongue or I wasn’t sure of what I was saying. Construction of artificial pitches cost a lot so I can’t do six. But we are working on at least one before the year ends” – he told Radio Shama.
He further reveal that measurements of one pitch have been taken which he refused to disclose where exactly the pitch is.
