The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association has named the Chief Executive Officer of Young Apostles FC Samuel Anim Addo has the Vice Chairman of the Juvenile Committee.

The enterprising football administrator, who is a member of the new Ghana FA Executive Council was named the deputy of the eight-member Committee on Tuesday evening.
With grassroots football development as his trademark, Samuel Anim Addo who is also the manager for Ghana’s all-time leading topscorer Asamoah Gyan, is expected to help in reviving the foundation of football in the country.
The Ghana FA capo Kurt Okraku will lead the Committee with Mensah Agbovor, Eugene Gyaquaye, Amidu Abdulai, Michael Fiaduse, Kasim Abubakar and Daniel Boateng as members.
The Juvenile Committee have been tasked to formulate policies for the development, control, promotion, management, organisation and administration of juvenile football in Ghana.
The Committee, among other duties, will formulate regulations for the re-positioning of juvenile football in the country and assist in the formation and management of the National Juvenile Teams (both male and female).

They have also been tasked to instill discipline , fair play, patriotism and sportsmanship in juvenile football in the country.
The Committee, as part of its work, will aim at ingniting passion in the juvenile football sector (formerly called colts football) which is the bedrock of Ghana football.
