A ban has been placed on schools used for religious activities across the country.
This according to President Akufo-Addo is to ensure a Coronavirus-free environment at various schools as final year students resume classes today, June 29, 2020.
President Akufo-Addo revealed this in his address on Sunday, June 28, 2020 which was broadcast nationwide.
Final year students at the junior high school level begin their eleven weeks to their final exams today as directed by the President.

In his address, the President also mentioned that over 750,000 students, teaching and non-teaching staff will resume school today with all Coronavirus protocols and restrictions to be observed.
He also added that as part of measures to avoid the mitigation of the virus, Government has provided over 45,000 Veronica buckets to the various schools as well as other health items.
There won’t be 30 students in a classroom as classes will start at 9:00AM each day and close at 1:00PM, the President said in his address.
