Sekondi College has been crowned the champions of Sekondi Zone Inter School Soccer Tournament after winning against St. Johns in the finals.
Sekondi College broke the virginity of the game in the 26th minutes through a free kick which didn’t last long due to an equalizer by St.John’s in the 37 minutes which the first half of the game ending by 1-1
In the second half, Sekondi College was awarded a penalty in the 3rd minutes which was squandered but they kept pressing till they got another penalty in the 21st minutes which was converted making them lead by 2-1.
The tragedies of St. Johns worsened when Sekondi College scored the 3rd in the additional minutes which made Sekondi College the Champions of Sekondi Zone Inter School Soccer Tournament after the final whistle.
Adiembra Senior High School was placed third after putting two goals in the net of Shams Senior High School in contention for the 3rd and 4th place.
In the girls finals, Shams Senior High School were the champions.
