Sekondi Eleven Wise started the 2017/18 Division Two League season on a good note as they thrashed new entrant Givova Sporting Academy 2:0 in Match day 1 of the Western Regional Football Association’s Division Two League at the Sekondi Gyandu Park .
Eleven Wise who were playing away to Givova Sporting Academy, started the game on a brighter note as they had the opener through their enterprising captain Prince Owusu in the 2nd minutes of the game.
Givova, came in strongly to equalize but all effort prove futile as Eleven Wise showed enough muscles, preventing the home team from scoring.
David Nyame scored the second goal for the Western Show Boys after converting a penalty in the 49th minutes of the second half putting the game beyond the reach of Givova Sporting Academy.
Eleven Wise will play their next game against Essikado based Railstars next weekend at the Sekondi Gyandu Park.
