The Western Regional Sports Director Jeffrey Manzan has also wades into the plead of Westerners that the Sekondi Sports stadium should be renovated.
The people in the Western region have been calling on the Sports Ministry to renovates the stadium which is currently in an atrocious, lamentable and woeful states.
The Sports Minister Honorable Isaac Asiamah in his last visit to the region stated emphatically that the ruling NPP government are the owners of the scornful edifice and will renovates it in no time soon but the structure is yet to be renovated in almost a year now.
In an interview with Sekondi based Radio Silver, Mr. Manzan also waded into the petition of the people of the Western region that the stadium is currently deteriorating and needs urgent renovation works.
‘’ The stadium is due renovation because its deteriorating day in and out”, he said.
He continued that the problem is not only the roofing but the scoreboard and some plumbing works need to be done as early as possible.
