Multiple award-winning Ghanaian dancehall sensation Shatta Wale has named his top five best female artistes doing well in the Ghanaian music industry.
The ‘Borjor’ hit-maker who has been making Ghana proud with his music outside the continent (Africa), believes all the female artistes in the Ghanaian showbiz industry are doing great but will choose Wendy Shay, Eno Barony, Sista Afia, Becca and Efya as his best.
Though he was asked to choose only five female artistes, the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards’ artiste of the year went ahead to mention Adina as his sixth choice, stating that he can go ahead to mention many if given the opportunity.

He took the opportunity and stressed that all the Ghanaian female artistes are doing exceptional well in their various ways but believes they just need little support to compete with the other female musicians making waves in and outside the continent (Africa).
Shatta Wale was speaking with Nana Ama McBrown on UTV’s weekend Entertainment show dubbed ‘United Showbiz’ where he made such revelation.
