Six men, including three childhood friends and Juventus and France midfielder Paul Pogba’s brother Mathias, are on trial in Paris for blackmail. The blackmail was attempted to extort $13.5 million, and holding Pogba at gunpoint.
The trial comes amid Pogba’s professional struggles. In 2022, he left Manchester United due to repeated injuries and returned to Juventus, where he remained in and out of treatment. The club this month cancelled his contract following his suspension until March 2025 for doping.
Pogba’s brother, Mathias Pogba reportedly collaborated with a gang to blackmail his brother, Paul Pogba for €13m.
Former Arsenal and Togolese forward Emmanuel Adebayor experienced it as well as Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen.
