[ads1]Renowned sportscaster, Oti-Asirifi Mensah Joseph is reportedly joining GNPC Foundation as the Head of Media/PR.
According to grapevine sources, the Skyy Power FM employee has emerged as favorite for the vacant position at GNPC Foundation after the exit of Moses Antwi Benefo popularly known as PJ Mosey.[ads2]
The Head of Media/PR position at the GNPC Foundation has been vacant for a couple of weeks following the exit of PJ Mosey to Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.
It is believed that Oti-Asirifi Mensah who works at the Takoradi Technical University (TTU) is leading the list of candidates for the position and could be named the new Head of Media/PR for GNPC Foundation soon.[ads3]
The versatile broadcaster is a Senior Assistant Registrar, and head of Disability Support and Services Unit, an Academic Board Member, and the President of the Technical University Senior Administrators Association of Ghana, TUSAAG (TTU).
He holds B.A Hons in History, MBA in Human Resource (IC), M.A. in Development Management from the University of Cape Coast (UCC) and currently pursuing a Professional Licensing Program Management and Administration Consultant with CIAMC, Ghana. He also holds Executive Masters Certificate in Oil and Gas from the prestigious Phortish Lovell Institute.[ads4]
Oti-Asirifi is a GBC trained sports broadcaster, with Ghana FA spokesperson Henry Asante-Twum, and Ghana FA Executive Committee member Fred Acheampong among others, as mates at the GBC training school.
He began radio in the early 2000’s at Cape Coast and has worked with stations like GBC Radio (Central Region), Kyzz FM, Melody FM, Spice FM, Radio 360 and currently with Skyy Power FM all in Takoradi of the Western Region as head of Sports.
Oti Asirifi Mensah is a former Public Relations Officer of Venomous Vipers Football Club, member of the Western Regional Football Association’s Media Committee RFA and Secretary of the Western Regional branch of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG).
He hails from Kyebi in the Eastern Region and married with four kids..
