The statement has also rebuffed claims by one Jean Jacque Kojo Effangon that management of Hearts of Oak failed to provide for the needs of Slavko Matic hence his desire to leave the club.
“Let us place on record that these statements making the rounds on social media are factually incorrect and rather appear to taint the image of the club in the eyes of the public and numerous supporters of the club”, part of the statement sighted by Kyfilla.com reads.[ads4]
The Phobians have called upon Mr Effangon to provide clear evidence of his claims to the management of the club within seven days or face legal action.
