Asante Kotoko begun their preparations ahead of the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup playoffs fixture against San Pedro, with a sounding 4-0 victory against Bakwai Youth Football Academy at the Adako Jachie Park today.

Goals from Songne Yacouba and George Abege ensured that the Porcupine Warriors trounced the division one outfit 4-0.
Kotoko begun the game on a good note with Burkina Faso international Songne Yacouba opening the deadlock as early as the 8th minute.
Yacouba scored from a rebound of Matthew Kelvin Andoh’ strike from Martin Antwi’ cross.

The former Stade Malien forward made it 2-0 for Asante Kotoko in the 45th minute to end the first half of the fascinating encounter.

Coach Kjetil Zachariassen begun the recess with five changes as Emmanuel Osei Kwame, Ampem Dacosta, Alexis Didi, Samuel Frimpong and George Abege came on for Kwame Baah, Augustine Sefah, Martin Antwi, Collins Ameyaw and Naby Keita respectively.

Songne Yacouba netted the third goal and of course a hat-trick in the 54th minute with Matthew Kelvin Andoh providing the assist.
In the 90th minute, Abass Mohammed provided George Abege with a nice pass in the eighteen yard box of which the former Kariobanji Sharks goal poacher beautifully utilized the opportunity to make it 4-0 for Asante Kotoko to end the game.
